Android market share surpasses iPhone's

The Android mobile operating system passed the Apple iPhone in terms of U.S. market share during the first quarter, according to a report issued by the NPD Group.
According to the study, the Android OS -- developed by Google Inc. -- ended the period with a domestic market share of 28 percent. That's up from about 20 percent in the December quarter, and is due mostly to strong sales of handsets such as the Droid and Droid Eris at Verizon Wireless, according to the report.

New App for Android Makes Twin Cities Loft and Condo Search a Breeze.

On the heels of the successful launch of its lofts and condos app for the iPhone(R), the Asbury Group of The Realty House is excited to offer the same app for people who use Android smartphones.
The new Android app is GPS-enabled and designed to make the Twin Cities loft, condo and townhome search more convenient and easy. Since 92 percent of smartphone Internet use in the United States is on the Android, BlackBerry, or iPhone platforms, the Asbury Group now offers apps on two of the three major smartphone platforms. The group's Android and iPhone apps are the only ones in Minnesota that are built exclusively for people in the Minneapolis-St. Paul loft, condo and townhome market.

Android and iPhone Application Development are Options for Any Size Business or Individual.

In 2007, the iPhone was introduced by Apple and has had a dramatic impact on business-to-consumer and business-to-business marketing. Since day one, iPhone app developers have been clamoring to produce apps for everyone from mom and pop shops to giant corporations. That same year, a start-up called Eye Phone Group began iPhone application development out of its Minneapolis office. Today, millions of apps have been downloaded from Apple's App Store, not to mention all of Android and BlackBerry apps downloaded in the past few years.
While the application development process may seem like magic to some, the Eye Phone Group team takes the mystery and complication out of building an iPhone, Android or BlackBerry app by working closely with its clients to understand their needs and, in turn, helping the client to understand the iPhone, BlackBerry or Android development process.

Android finds that popularity is indeed a two-edged sword.(Technology)

MANILA, Philippines -- It is increasingly getting difficult to do.
But we have to keep trusting our fellowmen; otherwise what is the point in having neighbors.
Yes, TV news nightly bombard us with reports about some humans' inhumanity against other people, but this should not frighten us into closing our eyes and our hearts to everybody else's potential to do good.
